Follow-up Activity
Follow-up Activity Description (PRC Kelmė branch)
The dissemination event took place on April 24, 2026, at Kelmė PRC Tytuvėnai branch. The aim was to share the knowledge and methods gained during the training, especially focusing on connection with nature, environmental awareness, and non-formal education tools such as creative activities and simple forest-theatre-inspired exercises.
Although the direct target group of the Erasmus+ training is youth workers, the participants adapted the activities to a local context. The institution cooperates with a children's day-care center, therefore the follow-up activity included both staff members and younger children. Participants organized a short presentation for their colleagues, introducing the project, its goals, and key methods learned during the training. This helped other staff members understand how non-formal education and nature-based methods can be integrated into their daily work..
In addition, one practical activity was implemented with children. The activity was simplified and adapted to their age, focusing on creativity, teamwork, and connection with nature. The presence of day-care center staff allowed them to observe the method in practice and learn how to apply similar activities in their own work with children.
This approach was beneficial because it ensured dissemination of project results not only among youth workers but also among a wider local community. It strengthened cooperation between institutions and supported the transfer of non-formal education methods to everyday practice. Even though the children are not yet the direct target group of Erasmus+, introducing these methods at an earlier age helps develop environmental awareness, creativity, and emotional well-being from a young age, which is in line with the main idea of the project — reconnecting people with nature for better mental health and development.

Participants' impressions from the project:
Emilis - The project was very well organised and gave me the chance to learn a lot in both a personal and professional way. I really liked how it combined sustainability, mindfulness, and practical activities in a creative way. During the project, I improved my facilitation and teamwork skills, and I also learned a lot from working with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. It was interesting to share ideas and experiences on topics like climate change, mental health, and resilience. The programme was full and engaging, although a little more time for personal reflection in nature would have been nice. Besides the activities, spending time with the group and exploring Vienna made the whole experience even more special. I am leaving this project with new knowledge, useful skills, and great memories.
Jonas - This project was a really valuable experience for me. I had the chance to learn more about sustainability and take part in activities that helped me better understand these topics in a practical way. I also improved my communication and teamwork skills by working with people from different countries and backgrounds. It was very interesting to exchange ideas, see different perspectives, and learn from each other. The activities were well organised and engaging, and I felt comfortable being part of the group. Overall, this project helped me grow both personally and professionally, and I am very glad I had the opportunity to participate.
Participating in the PEMEHECON project in Vienna was also an incredible journey of self-discovery and connection. Through various activities centered on the five elements, I really enjoyed exploring the different layers of my own identity and understanding the importance of mindfulness. This project taught me that true growth happens when we step out of our comfort zones and embrace the diverse perspectives of others.
Martynas - I really enjoyed being part of this project and I consider it a very positive experience. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and experience different cultures. Through the workshops and group activities, I developed new skills, especially in teamwork, communication, and expressing my ideas. I also became more confident in working with others and sharing my opinions. The topics of the project were interesting and relevant, and the way they were presented made them easy to understand. This experience gave me new motivation and ideas for the future, and I will definitely remember it for a long time.
